Artist Statement: Honestly I have never seen a Burl that looks like this piece. It just has this windswept flowing look to it, which is why I chose to turn it into the sculpture before you. I hope it finds a happy home on someone’s mantle, because that’s where it sat on mine for quite awhile before I decided to let someone else enjoy this very unique creation of Mother Nature.
